DESCRIPTION:About the Ceremony\nOCS of Northwest Washington will host its inaugural ceremony Saturday\, May 30\, 2026 at Stanwood - Camano High School's Performing Arts Center.\n\nThis is the Annual High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor its Class of 2026 high school seniors who are entering military service and their families.\n\nDoors open for check-in at 9:30am\n\nThe ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00am\n\nFeatured Speakers Include:\n\nLieutenant Colonel Natassia Cherne - Commander of the 361st Recruiting Squadron\, headquartered at Joint Base Lewis-McChord\n\nMike Washington - Stanwood High School Principal and Retired from the Navy after 20 years of service\n\nRobert "Chili" Hicks - Stanwood City Council Member and Retired from the Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer\n\nResource Fair Participants Include:\n\n\n	Military OneSource\n	USAA\n	Navy Federal Credit Union\n	USO Northwest\n	Blue Star Families\n	American Red Cross\n	Operation Homefront\n	Military Spouse Jobs\n	Military Families Magazine\n	Pacific Northwest Military Museum - Blue Star Museums\n	April Patterson Navy Real Estate\n\n\nThere is no cost to attend this event (in fact\, there will be a free raffles with prizes for attendees!).  Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2026 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.\n\n\n\nSuggested dress attire is casual.\n\n\n\nPlease register to attend the event by: May 25th\n\nWe ask that as many members of the local community plan to attend and support these young patriots as they rise to the challenge of serving our great nation.
