Washington in the Making 2040 Town Hall Meeting

The Association of Washington Business Institute and the Washington Roundtable are embarking on an initiative to engage Washingtonians in shaping a vision for the future of our state's economy. The goal is to engage businesses and residents around the State to contribute to the development of a compelling vision for the future of Washington’s economy.  This vision, and the goals and desired outcomes that are developed, will be used to actively shape policy and action to ensure Washington’s growth is strategic and supports economic prosperity and quality of life in every county.
 
We're hosting town hall meetings across the state, engaging hundreds of business and civic leaders to hear their priorities and dreams for what the future of Washington’s economy should look like. We’re also commissioning a large-scale statewide survey of Washingtonians. This research will be the foundation of a vision and a plan for the future of Washington’s economy that will be launched in 2024.

• What does your community need to solve to be thriving in 2040?
• What trends do you think will affect you and the state of Washington over the next 15 years?
