In the Women's Outdoor Survival Skills workshop, we aim to create a supportive and empowering environment where participants can learn essential outdoor sur-thrival techniques. Our container of learning is designed to foster encouragement and boost confidence, providing a safe space for women to develop the skills necessary to thrive in the great outdoors.

Making effective fire structures using reliable, beginner-friendly ignition sources

Need-to-know knots,

Basic emergency protocols to stay aware and calm before being rescued or hiking out.
Participants will leave the workshop knowing:

What to carry in their pack on any outdoor trip

How to construct a quick shelter for an unexpected backcountry overnight

Where to find materials to make a fire in any condition

How to start a fire with reliable tools

And a few ways to purify water for drinking
