SVC/EDASC Monthly Business Workshop: Managing Your Online Reputation with Tony Salas
Customers want to do business with fair, honest, and ethical businesses and are looking online to see how you stack up. The results are staggering with 80% of consumers treating 4 and 5 star reviews as trustworthy as personal recommendations from family or friends. 92% of consumers under the age of 50 check the online ratings and reviews of new businesses before they visit and 94% of consumers under 35 years old say that poor reviews will keep them from doing business with a merchant or restaurant. Join Tony Salas, President of Washington Small Business Consulting as he shows how to deal effectively with the reputation of your business. Some of the questions and concerns that will be covered are: * How can a business manage their online reputation? * What tools are available for business? * How do I deal with incorrect directory listings? * What if I get false or incorrect reviews? * What is the Consumer Review Fairness Act? Please note: Workshops run during the lunch hour to make it convenient for our business partners, though we do not provide lunch. This helps us to conduct the workshops at a minimum cost for our participants. However, participants are more than welcome to bring in their own lunch and beverages.
