Our Community Salutes of Northwest Washington 2026 High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony
About the Ceremony
OCS of Northwest Washington will host its inaugural ceremony Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Stanwood - Camano High School's Performing Arts Center.This is the Annual High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor its Class of 2026 high school seniors who are entering military service and their families.
Doors open for check-in at 9:30am
The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00am
Featured Speakers Include:
Lieutenant Colonel Natassia Cherne - Commander of the 361st Recruiting Squadron, headquartered at Joint Base Lewis-McChord
Mike Washington - Stanwood High School Principal and Retired from the Navy after 20 years of service
Robert "Chili" Hicks - Stanwood City Council Member and Retired from the Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer

There is no cost to attend this event (in fact, there will be a free raffles with prizes for attendees!). Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2026 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.
Suggested dress attire is casual.

We ask that as many members of the local community plan to attend and support these young patriots as they rise to the challenge of serving our great nation. Please bring family and friends!
